70th ANNUAL SPRING HILL FALL FESTIVAL PARADE

2023 First Place Prize was Awarded to Spring Hill Baptist Church.

​

The Spring Hill Fall Festival Committee, Inc., cordially invites you to join our 70th annual Fall Festival Parade.  The Parade is scheduled for September 28th, 2024 at 10:00am.  The Parade is free to enter. We cannot guarantee parade participation without an entry form submitted prior to the parade date. Upon arrival, please check in at the registration table, where you will be given your line-up number.

 

We have great prizes to give away to our top float winners. It is not mandatory to decorate, however, we would love to see as many themed out floats/vehicles/banners as possible. Top prizes include an RV rental and Gift Cards!

Line up this year will be in the South parking lot at Spring Hill Middle School and will begin at 7:30am. The band, cheerleaders, and dance team will line up together at the bus entry at the North drive of the school. No other vehicles are permitted in the North drive.

​

Walkers will be in the entrance off of South Street. Vehicles dropping off walkers can either drop off at the entrance or use the staff parking lot. 

​

All floats and vehicles that are going to be in the parade need to use the entrance off 217th and will park in the main parking lot of the school. 

​

It is important that everyone follows these instructions in order to keep everyone safe and to ensure the parade runs smoothly with as few gaps as possible. Once you are parked in your designated area, please wait for one of our volunteers to put an entry number on your vehicle/banner.  We will also let you know who you will be following.

​

At 9:00am we will begin to line up the parade in a predetermined order. Please be ready by this time to ensure we get everyone in the best order possible. The parade will exit from the Middle School on South Street, heading west, then turning North onto Webster St. The parade will end at the SHRC ball fields West of  Sonic. Any cars  picking up walkers should be waiting in the parking lot of the SHRC ballpark.

CANDY- we love that so many of our participants bring candy and other goodies to handout at the parade. It is important that NOTHING CAN BE THROWN FROM A MOVING VEHICLE. All candy and other items must be handed out by someone who is walking. 

​

If you have any questions, please email back as soon as possible so there is no confusion the day of the parade. 

​

IMPORTANT:  All entry forms must be submitted by Friday, September 27th and must be submitted with a COPY of a valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance card for review. Late entries cannot be accepted.
